Item:3020425625171900s Edwardian Antoria Accordion Vintage Flute Organ Accordion Melodion Musical.
A wonderful 1906 Antoria Accordion / Vintage Flute Organ / Hand Held Accordion / Vintage Musical Instrument / Vintage Melodion This
Flute Organ Accordion was made by Antoria in Saxony, a German state, in
1906. On the corner plates it has the registered number dating it to
1906. When the bellows are opened you get one note and a
different note as the bellows are pushed in. This accordion has one
coupler (organ stops) on the top. I would imagine there should be
another as there is a hole next to it. The coupler gives a set of
reeds but I cannot hear the difference. It is printed with 'Special
Reeds' on the side. The 2 Bass buttons give loud solid chords creating a
wonderful loud sound. The bellows are good, the bellows release button
is situated beneath the bass buttons. There are 10 keys. It
appears to play well although I am no accordion player. Apart from the
second coupler It all seems to be in working order. The metal locks to
keep it shut are no longer present but it is nice and clean and in fine
fettle for the age considering it is 110 years old. The end panels measure 10 1/4 inches by 5 1/2 inches . It would be a super addition to any collection, excellent display, practical piece or authentic period prop. Thanks for looking and please cast a glance at my other vintage and historical items
