Sporting a wonderful 8 day movement that strikes, on the hour and half hour.We expect a German made movement with a simple British case, a regular occurrence of that period. This clock is full working order with key included, on receiving this clock, it should not be over-wound and you should aim to wind weekly. The case is medium to dark brown with lovely glass panels and clock face glass. The hands are typical of the period and are pretty in their own right.Clock face feels metal and does have some were and tear, in my eyes, a wonderful patina!Currently keeping good time, some adjustments may be required for its new home environment and after posting (is it may be rattled about a bit in transit), Pendulum speed may need to be re-adjusted and time will need to be taken to level the clock on your wall, spirit level will be super helpful if you can find one :-) Just get in touch if advice needed, speed adjustments and pendulum re-balancing is super easy and we are happy to help via email or telephone :-).Size26.5cm - Width11cm - Depth56cm - HeightConditionThis lovely clock does have a few small knocks and grazes and some noticeable (on very close inspection) historical wood worm damage (very mild and inactive) and will require a really good clean and polish as she is certainly dusty! She does have service history including a label to the base and was told by last own that this was oiled just 'a few months back'.Glass to case is sound, some slight splitting to wood to back of case but un-noticeable when front door panel is closedThe movement looks to have been well looked after in the past and seems to be very oily inside. This is not a fine 'artisan' or branded clock so naturally please do not expect this :-) Just a nice 1930's piece. There is a washer type item in the case of the clock that appears to have meant to be have been placed on the hand but this will not stay in place... we have left this in the case in case it is needed in the future :-)There is a shaped decorative piece to the top of the clock that you will see in the pictures, there is also meant to be one to the lower part of the clock, this is unfortunately missing, but this does not detract from the overall look of the clock as is most certainly normal for them to be only embellished at the top. PLEASE SEE PICTURES TO IDENTIFY ALL THAT IS MENTIONED ABOVENotesPostage will seem expensive but this will allow for a larger parcel size to ensure clock has adequate packing for protection in transitCollection welcome! Any questions please do not hesitate to get in touch :-) Please refer to pictures for detailed condition of this articleTermsPlease note I prefer payment through paypal and refuse payment by bank transfer unless discussed first, all items will be posted by royal mail 2nd or 1st class post unless otherwise stated.Returns - I do not accept returns unless there is a problem with my service, i will also note that return postage charges are for you to cover and not myself.
