Wonderful historical grouping from German army unteroffizier. Letters are dated from the late 30s all the way up through about 1944. It is difficult for me to read the handwriting on most of these, and I am not fluent in German, so I cannot provide any details on what information is contained in the letters.

Many of the envelopes have letters still contained in them -- although about 1/2 have their letters separated.

Perfect for the World War II historian looking for a divisional research and first-hand / contemporaneous information.  

Based on what I could see on the letters, it appears to be mainly from a soldier named Werner Holzau stationed with Abt. 1/268 and possibly later with 9/of Art Ers Abt 27 Augsburg March 1943 forward. I’m not 100% sure so you’ll need to read through them to establish a timeline.
