ITEM DESCRIPTION   1 of a number of control stamp covers I am in the process of selling. Please check out the others. This is a postally used envelope that was sent to Wolverhampton. This cover has 3 green George VI halfpenny stamps on it which are all still attached to each other. These are Control Stamps with an extra code attached to them which is B / 37. It also looks like these are from plate number 25. There is a frank mark on the front but it has not been stamped particularly well so the date is unreadable. Please see close-up photographs provided for more details and visual confirmation of condition for yourself. Condition report: Normal signs of age and use wear, especially on the edges and corners. Scale is usually an English 1 penny coin which is 20mm in diameter which is just short of 7/8ths of an inch in diameter, or a universal sized Coke can (330ml).

If you see  A/F = a/f in the title or description it means  "as found" condition which may have scuffs, scratches and damage. In relation to all my listings it does not mean " about fine ".  I have used A/F  for " as found " for 45 years.
