Practical Mechanics was a monthly British magazine devoted mostly to home mechanics, science and technology. It was published by George Newnes and was edited by F J Camm. With an emphasis on things its readers could reasonably construct themselves, the magazine featured numerous articles on how to build things around the house, while also regularly featured more fanciful articles on how to build more exotic things. The magazines also kept its readers up-to-date with new advances in science & technology, plus regularly featured articles on photography, radios, model making and bicycling.

- Star Lion flagship of the Tudor IV fleet for BSAA on its first test flight - picture and caption
- Enterprise Scotland
- Electric Water Heating
- Adjustable Lighting Stand
The magazine has page numbers 109 to 144, with The Cyclist in the back pages, numbered 25 to 32 Condition: Generally the magazine is in good vintage condition, but the staples show signs of rust, and there is some evidence of creasing and reading wear and a little bit of damage to the cover around the staples. However overall, given the magazine is over 70 years old, the condition is pretty good but certainly not perfect. The magazine pictured below is the one you will receive. I accept returns, and if you'd like any further information, please don't hesitate to ask! DR Box File Look-In Box 1
