Item:1320205202151966 Triumph T100SS Classic Motorcycle - Matching numbers.. I'm reluctantly selling my classic Triumph T100SS due to having no time to ride 'thanks' to a new job. Often described as the 'baby Bonneville', it was completely rebuilt by the previous owner (a mechanical engineer of some standing) and purchased by me in 2014 from a classic bike dealer. It's done just 424 miles since the engine rebuild so is barely run in yet! Recently MOT'd until August 2017 and of course there's no road tax. The restoration is superb but there are some small issues commensurate with a 50 year old 'bike that stop me describing it as concours condition (see above). She's a good starter but could do with a little fettling to get her running perfectly. I replaced the Amal carb and horn last year for brand new ones (originals supplied with the sale) and there is the standard oil weep from the push rod tubes which would be an easy fix for the experienced and a fantastic winter project. I've added bar end mirrors and a classic chrome air filter, all included in the sale. There are also some other bits and pieces I'll include such as spare bulbs, oil, all the receipts from the rebuild etc. Overall, she's in great condition, runs brilliantly and is a real head-turner. She won the best post-'65 motorcycle in a Cotswolds car show last year and it's criminal that I can't get out on her, hence the reluctant sale. Own a piece of motorcycling history without paying the silly money that Bonnies and Goldstars are going for! Because she needs fettling, I would recommend a van pick-up rather than a ride home after the sale. Video of her starting and a walk around on https://youtu.be/FGa1ppig6WE Please don't bother me with daft offers, requests to deliver overseas etc. because I just won't reply. Thanks!
Condition:Used
Condition:Restored from the ground up in 2014 by the previous owner (a mechanical engineer) to very high specification. Matching numbers. There is some small bubbling of the paintwork by the petrol cap and it has the standard classic Triumph oil weep from the pushrod tubes. There's also a slight leak from the reserve side of the petrol valve tap, otherwise in stunning condition for a 50 year old motorcycle.
