Vintage Ercol Sideboard Blonde Solid Elm Model 366 on legs - VGC


The roots of Ercol can be traced back to 1920 when the company was founded by Lucian Ercolani in High Wycombe. They went on to produce some iconic pieces in the field of modern design, and were known for their use of Elm, a timber other companies traditionally steered clear of due to its volatility.


The model 366 sideboard was designed in 1957. It features a beech underframe and solid elm carcase. The handles were later changed to the more popular turned oval handles as seen in this piece.

The sideboard is in very good condition. Structurally strong with no loose joints or wobbles. All doors and drawers open and close smoothly. Overall very clean. An excellent piece.
