Probably in oak. It was previously owned by an Olympic medal winning and World Champion cyclist from 1948. He was C.S.I. Scott ( Ian Scott ) and the cabinet was presented to him in recognition of his achievements by the Marlboro A C. I believe he won silver in the olympics team event and gold in the world championships of the same year. A metal plaque inside has the inscription with these details. The central bureau section is wide enough for laptop use, fitted inside, drawer and cupboard underneath, glazed display sections either side. Measures 49 inches long, 46 tall, flap is 17 inches across, floor height 29 inches down. In good presentable condition. Interesting and stylish piece, good luck. Check out my other items!
