BAIRSTOW MANOR COLLECTABLES JUG

Up for sale I have this wonderful Edward G Robinson character jug from Bairstow Manor Collectables. The main issue of this jug is from their Hollywood Greats series which was issued in a Ltd. Edition of no more than 500 pieces. This one is marked as a show special and therefore not numbered and not part of that edition. It is therefore an unusual, possibly unique, colourway. It is hand-made and hand-painted and was originally modelled by Ray Noble. 

This large piece is just under 8 inches/20cm high.  It is 1st quality and is fully stamped underneath.

As these jugs are hand-made and hand-painted I always examine each one carefully. On this one there are some dots, pimples, dimples and slightly rough areas in the finish and some paint run marks (see photos). Nothing unusual; a genuine rarity.
