Curtis Creations was a branch of Curtman Company a jewelry manufacturer in Providence, RI. in 1942. In the late 1940s Curtman was acquired by Uncas Manufacturing Company a larger jewelry firm in Providence. Uncas started in 1911 as the Sorrento Company changing its name to Uncas Manufacturing Company in 1922. Curtman Company retained its name after becoming a part of Uncas, at least until 1955. The Uncas Organization became Uncas International in 2014 and they continue to thrive.
