Seller: retrorebel72 ✉️ (2,973) 99%, Location: Gloucestershire, GB, Ships to: GB, Item: 145692898660 1974 Bond Bug 750ES one of only 142 produced unique opportunity only 17326 miles. 1974 Bond Bug 750ES unrestored survivor only two previous owners & very low mileage of 17326 miles owned by me 24 years Sold new by Brians motorcycles Luton on the 18th March 1974 This being one of 142 750ES models which had the larger 748cc engine with an alternator this being 105 from last made & has matching numbers  1st owner 9 months, second owner 1975-2000 & myself from 2000 when I purchased it the mileage was 12892 miles & it still had the original Good Grand Prix cross ply tyres still fitted & a new unused spare still with the label on the tread. When purchased in 2000 it had been off the road for 15 years and only needed new hoses & new wheel cylinders to pass an mot. When purchased it had been registered to XGC592M due to not having the log book change in 1985 so on the V5 it states date of registration as 24th September 1985. We managed to get the car reregistered on it's original number XXD199M which is non transferable. Since owning the car it has been Mot'd every year up until 2019 when I didn't bother as it had become MOT exempt then in early 2020 the brake master cylinder failed so the decision was to take it off the road for a overhaul so the engine & gearbox was removed for a clean & paint and the idea was to paint the chassis & overhaul the brakes & replace coolant hoses & fuel lines but unfortunately this hasn't happened due to moving from Kent to Gloucestershire so this has come as a hard decision to sell and due to at the moment having no where to finish the jobs. The car comes with lots of receipts,Mot's from 1985 Original price list & spec sheet.I also have the owners handbook & service book. There are lots of new parts with the car purchased for the overhaul including wheel cylinders, hoses,Gaz front shock etc. Body is good for 50 years old as is the interior & side screens. This could easily be back on the after a few weekends work.I've already overhauled the front arm the next step was to paint the chassis, rear axle, engine, gearbox & steering box. I've attended shows every year with the car up until 2019 including the bug 40th & 45th meets it can also be seen in the line up on the episode of wheeler dealers when they done a Bug. Any othe questions please send a message their is No buy it now so the auction will run to the end. Collection on trailer as no engine fitted. Overseas bidders I am happy to assist where possible. £ 250 NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT WITHIN REQUIRED 24HRS OF AUCTION END
