The Junior Car Club was formed in 1919, a fter the Second World War the club amalgamated with the Brooklands Automobile Racing Club and in 1949 the Club changed its name to the British Automobile Racing Club and took up residence at Goodwood.
This JCC yorkshire centre ran the Sleuths mug competion , when you entered you were sent clues and then on the day you would plot your route [ see pictures of the 1970 magazine and discription of the event ].. The 1933 event was won by C. D. Wilson
