Details: Edward Bawden R.A. (British, 1903-1989) Tower of London (Moncrieff and Greenwood 66) Linocut printed in colours, 1966, on wove. London features in the work of Edward Bawden (1903–1989) from the 1920s when he was studying illustration at the Royal College of Art. He designed posters for Hyde and Regent Parks in London and murals alongside Eric Ravilious for Morley College. In addition to a linocut series on London Markets, Bawden is known for his Nine London Monuments linocut series, prints on Kew Gardens and lithographs of various exchanges in the City.
