Cased Pair of Oyster Catchers
Beautiful pair of cased Oyster Catchers.
In lovely condition.
There is no trade label to this case, but I believe the work has been done by C.H Bisshopp 124 George Street Oban West Scotland.
There is a very similar case illustrated in the Echalaz collection book by Adrian Sailor published in 2007 pg 24.
Please note this case has had some restoration, ie one glass side panel replaced and the eggs are replicas, hence why the glass has been replaced I suppose.
Also the guilt beading is on the exterior of the glass which is probably later in date, generally a lovely case and quite rare.
Dimensions 93cm wide, 28cm deep, 63cm high. Very heavy case.
Sensible offers considered.
