Seller: timerunner56 (668) 99.5%, Location: Bournemouth, Dorset, Ships to: GB & many other countries, Item: 291935221924 Delightful Early French Bronze Rococo Clock CaseA very nice and heavy cast brass/bronze? clock case in the Rococo style. This good size quality French case would have probably housed a silk French movement in it. The casting is top quality and with the correct movement in it would be worth many hundreds of pounds and no doubt significantly more than that in a good antique shop. Measures 11.5in tall x 8in wide x 4.5in deep and has an aperture for a movement of 3.25in in diameter. Exquisitely decorated with scrolls and ornately fretted sides while the feet are shaped like shells. There is a little bit of damage to the rim where the movement was housed and the right hand side side fret also (see photos). This is a superb quality case in overall good condition that deserves a movement of similar quality.Happy to answer any questions, either via message or phone ( 07761 432112 ) Terms and ConditionsAll my items are sold for restoration and consequently sold as seen without a guarantee.
