An iconic piece of Art Pottery, from the 1970's by Denby,
Hand painted it is part of the "Minaret" range designed by David Yorath for the factory in 1970
Taking it's inspiration from complicated Middle Eastern patterns, in ochres, golds and brown, its complex Persian styled patters fill the central area, with the upper and lower parts were simply ridged (see photos)
Main paintress for these pieces was Audrey Cole-Parker
Full pottery black backstamp (see photos) together with Cole -Parkers hand scripted monogram.
Shape No 804.
In very good condition consistent with age and light use, no apparent chips, cracks or restoration.
Measures about 11" tall and is approximately 4" in diameter.
A heavy piece It weighs about 1.594 kg. Postal charges will reflect this
