Description Early Post WWII British Army Military Denison Smock. No markings. The main zipper is branded 'Flash', the zip on the right breast is branded 'Dot' Made in England. The back of the nickel press studs are marked Newey Pat. 201430-22. The cap heads on the studs still retain some green paint. Late 1940's and through to the 1950' smocks bore close resemblance to wartime smocks. No size labels so I have taken the following measurements as a guide for fit. Please account for under garments. Arm pit to arm pit laid flat across the chest 29" Waist laid flat 29 1/2" Upper sleeve length taken from the seam of the shoulder to the cuff 24" Drop at the back from the seam at the base of the collar to the bottom hem 32" Zip measures 15". Generally in used condition with evidence of service use. There is a small hole centre front, another back lower right, An L shaped tear to the inner collar. A few small puncture holes to the material overall. There is some wear around the bottom hem. The knitted woolen cuffs do have some moth damage. Any questions welcomed. These include Isle of Man, Channel Islands, Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, etc. In this instance you must opt for the alternative courier option or contact us for a price on shipping. Some of our heavier / bulky items can be shipped overseas but price depends on location. Please contact us for a shipping quote if one is not specified. A note to our New Zealand buyers - for some reason eBay do not display an option for postage to NZ so please use the same displayed cost as for Australia. We are happy to combine postage on multiple items but please wait to be invoiced or request total on completion of bidding. It makes for more work if you pay for multiple items separately and we do not get refunded for our percentage of eBay's fees.
