I have never seen another like it- a perfect blend between elegance and simplicity. And I am only selling it because my living-room is too small, and it wont go anywhere else. The cabinet has served extremely well to house our DVD collection as you can see in the last photo. I had it brought over from Germany where I bought it as a small "Vertigo". Usually these pieces are a good 20 cm taller and a lot more ornate but I wanted something neat and elegant (more Edwardian, if you know what I mean). It is solid wood with some veneer for the lovely marbling to the doors and two drawer fronts. It is, I think, "Nussbaum" (walnut). The condition is really very good, given its age. The colour is rich and warm (hard to categorise- I think that the fourth last, the one of the top corner is probably the most representative) and really worked with my blue velvet curtains. Sigh... Yes- it is a bit 'bruised" (dented- not damaged per se) here and there, but nothing to detract from its obvious charm. It has three keys, the cabinet one being different from the two drawer ones.Measurements: Width: 84cm (89cm with moulding)Depth: 40.5cm (44.5cm with moulding)Height: 118cmShelf heights (from the top down): 19cm, 20cm, 20cm, 25cm (perfect for DVDs)__________________________________ Collection only as with all my bigger pieces but I am more than happy for you to arrange your own courier. I can recommend www.shiply.com who have been my saving grace on a number of occasions. Please make sure that the courier you pick knows about transporting antiques because it would be a shame for it to get damaged in transit. I may be able to arrange a drop off along the near(ish) part of the A1 between Berwick upon Tweed and Edinburgh. Condition: In nice condition, given its grand age.
