The retrofit kit for the sporty 17" JCW brake system is suitable for the F55 and F56. The front axle brake comprises a 4-piston fixed calliper in chilli red with John Cooper Works branding and an internally ventilated, drilled brake disk. The rear axle brake comprises a singlepiston floating calliper in chilli red with full disk. This kit is suitable for retrofitting to all F55 and F56 models with the exception of JCW cars. The drilled brake disks for the front axle are exclusively available as special accessories, however they can also be retrofitted to JCW cars with standard 17" JCW brake system . Front axle: 4-piston fixed calliper, 335 x 30 mm brake disk (internally ventilated, drilled and grooved). – Rear axle: 1-piston floating calliper, 259 x 10 mm brake disk. The DSC coding must be adapted to the JCW sport brake system.(CODING NEEDED ) The first 200 km after installing the braking system,the car must be 'run in' carefully. The braking system only develops its full effectiveness after this time.
