Seller: grantsgate01 (1,378) 100%, Location: maidstone, Kent, Ships to: GB, Item: 122244412020 A French mantel clock with an 8 day movement striking the half hours and hours on a bell, the movement stamped Vincenti. The movement has been dismantled and thoroughly cleaned and has had new mainsprings fitted and the clock is now working well. I also fitted a new suspension which is an internal Brocot. The clock does not have its original pendulum but is keeping good time. The clock has a porcelain panel and small porcelain and composite metal urn to the top of the clock The condition of the clock is generally good but does have damage to the back of the case as shown, there is a defect to one of the porcelain urns it is at the base where it attaches to the metal stand. this urn is also slightly loose and so needs attention. The other urn has two marks at the back where the blue colour is not uniform ,as shown. The urn on the top of the clock has damage to the left hand handle and the very top of the urn there is a tiny handle missing. The porcelain panel at the top of the clock is slightly out of place. The porcelain dial of the clock has some wear as shown but has no damage. The clock has a slight wobble on its feet but there is no damage. The clock stands securely enough to work. The clock and urns are of metal which may have originally been gilded but have been painted over. The clock stands 13" tall, 7" wide and 4" deep, the urns are 11" tall, 4" wide and 3.25" deep. The clock and garnitures date from about 1875-80 and have had a tough time but still make a good set. I will box them individually for carriage held within one box. No international postage.
