This is my latest trike, it came to me as a blinged up custom red painted machine, the basic design and build quality is superb and it has twin disc brakes up front and discs on the rear and the engine is rubber mounted but it just needed a bit of creative flare to make it really special.  Larger tank stripped back to bare metal and lightly polished it leaving some of the stains in the metal. Then it was clear lacquered and some old stickers fitted, these are genuine old stickers I managed to remove of an old 1960's BSA side panel I had hanging on the wall, much better than some fake repro aged new stickers. I hand painted the number 52 and rubbed it out a little to fade it. Then the fibreglass metallic red mudguards where aged as I wanted the bike to look like an old bike! The rust you see on the mudguards is genuine rust created with iron powder mixed in the paint and everyone thinks they are genuine old steel mudguards. New white handle grips, again aged, new sprung seat, aged, modern twin exhausts sticking out the back and a carrier fitted to give a mean powerful look and give the trike a bit more length and presence. Both slightly dusted with matt black spray to tone them down a bit. The exhausts are not connected and can be removed if not to your taste. Old slightly pitted chrome horn, air filter and maltese cross mirror. Satin black 14 inch rear wheels with low profile tyres to keep the trike low and the front tyre is an old style ribbed pattern tread. Chrome clocks with white faces. Pool ball for a gear knob. Leather studded saddle bags, they fit and look great, I will reluctantly let them go with the bike although I have had them since 1995 when I bought them on route 66 in Albuquerque New Mexico. The overall effect is fantastic and people think it is a genuine old vehicle in good condition rather than something built recently which is the exact effect I was after. Oil and filter change and fresh antifreeze done today. Engine sound sweet and the tappets are quiet. 4 speed with reverse. Foot clutch hand change. Ignition switch on headstock, handlebar starter switch retained. Antique Shell petrol can with original brass Shell cap left as it is with it's old weathered red paint. Matching shorty open face helmet included although you don't need to wear a helmet on a tricycle registered vehicle. Rocker cover stripped of it's original red paint back to bare metal and polished. Alloy engine block also lightly polished. Would look great as an advertising attention grabber outside your business premises etc. The V5 states it as a 1986 Reliant tricycle.  I am not even sure I want to sell it, I just woke up this morning and listed it on a whim so don't be surprised if I change my mind and it disappears from ebay. It is registered on it's original Reliant V5, as it uses the original engine, gearbox, back axle and some chassis and other parts, some say it needs to be re-registered and pass a MSVA due to recent EU regulation changes. We are ditching the failing EU anyway so things will probably change again. If you wanted to MSVA re-register it then I don't see any major issues as it has passed many mot's as it is.  Apparently if you MSVA test it which costs £104 then you don't need an MoT for 3 years so you will get the money back that way and be no worse off. It is a test to check things like it's lights are in the right place, no sharp edges etc and to make sure it has been built to an acceptable standard. Make up your own mind and bare in mind I am selling as a project as it is and as described to the best of my knowledge. This is a lot of fun for only £3,995 which is buttons in today's world, my new mountain bike cost that and it doesn't even have an engine! SEE MY OTHER RELIANT ARMY THEMED TRIKE ALSO ADVERTISED ON EBAY.  Come and have a look with pleasure. About my  business in motorcycles,  I specialise in classic and used machine projects as you will see if you look at the items I usually have for sale, often ones that have not been used for years, when I get them in I give them a look over, describe them as i see them and list them on eBay. I don't work on them to prepare them for retail sale and use, basically I just don't have the time and you buy them as they are, described to the best of my ability, and you are welcome to bring a mechanic to check over and that is the reason I can sell them at such bargain prices. As you would expect with used machines, unless I can prove with appropriate paperwork, I never guarantee mileages so take it as incorrect unless proven otherwise. Also, different people judge things differently, my description is my opinion after many years experience of  motorcycles and you may view things differently so view the bike, or send a representative, before you buy, as I will not be responsible if you buy the bike unseen as I may well have missed something you consider was worth a mention. Believe it or not, some people expect untouched perfect showroom new when buying older items at vastly reduced prices compared with a new item!  Please bare this in mind when buying.Cash only, no cheques of any description. Sorry, but at this keen price I am NOT open to offers so please don't try, I list at the price I want, which is very reasonable,  this way we all know where we stand and we won't be wasting each others time.  Buy with confidence, read my excellent feedback comments for the hundreds of motorcycles I have sold on eBay, I have been in business locally for 26 years.
