Hydromol Bath and Shower Emollient is an additive that can be used when bathing or showering to prevent the skin from drying out. The deeply hydrating formula moisturises and softens the skin. This product is suitable for those who suffer with dry skin and eczema. The emollient oil can either be added to a warm bath or applied directly to wet skin in the shower. Unlike some other bath and shower emollient products, the oils fully disperse in the water and do not leave a residue in the bath or shower. If you’re looking for a soothing, effective bathing emollient product to help relieve itchy, dry skin, try Hydromol Bath and Shower emollient.
How can an emollient help dry skin conditions?
When our skin becomes dry it can crack which weakens our skin’s natural protective barrier. This can allow irritants and germs to penetrate the skin which can cause it to become infected and irritated. Emollients are deeply moisturising treatments that help to keep the skin hydrated and strengthen the protective barrier. They can help to soothe skin that is irritated, itchy and uncomfortable, as well as keeping the skin supple and flexible which can prevent cracks.
How does Hydromol work?
Hydromol works in 2 ways. It can replace traditional soap, shower gels and bubble baths which can contain ingredients such as detergents or fragrances which can irritate dry or damaged skin. It also leaves a fine layer on top of the skin which helps to trap moisture and prevent the skin from drying out whilst bathing. The combination of emollient oils is designed to relieve itching and softens the skin during cleansing.
