I bought this trailer a few years ago with the intention to keep it forever as it would do every job. However, I’ve since bought a 14ft tipper trailer that saves me having to shovel/ hand ball building waste.
List of items I have replaced is as follows;
. All wheel bearings
. All brake cables
. All brake pads
. New tow hitch
. New jokey wheel
. New leaf spring
I replaced them all a couple of years ago, the trailer hasn’t done over 2,000 miles since putting said items on. I use it more for heavy loads over short distances.
All the lights and brakes work fine, one light cluster is slightly dimmer than the other.
I have a spare wheel which has a rubbish tyre, however I have a brand new tyre that comes with it.
One of the tyres has damaged to the wall and tread, please see photos.
Hand winch works fine.
Plated at 3500kg
Rear ramp damper needs replacing
There is a crack where the side posts slot in at both sides (please see photos), it’s been like that since I bought it. This doesn’t have any impact on the use. I can only assume due to the length, it’s cracked the weld over time. You could V the crack out and re weld it, would only take a number of minutes.
Any questions please ask, cash on collection.
