A fabulous Japanese Meiji period onlaid bronze and mixed metal vase in the manner of the highly regarded artist to the imperial household Susuki Chokichi. Depicting a bird perched on a flowering branch with silver & gold flowers & leaves on the front, and an onlaid patinated flower on the back, finished with an inlaid mixed metal border at the top and a silvered rim. This stunning vase is in fine condition commensurate with age and stands an impressive 12 inches tall.
