King Edward VIII Coronation (1937) Commemorative Mug Tankard
This mug tankard commemorating King Edward VIII’s Coronation was planned to take place on 12 May 1937 but due to his abdication it never took place. His brother King George VI was therefore crowned on that date in his place.

The bust of King Edward VIII is included in relief on the front of the mug with the ER monogram beneath. Further the alternate side features the Royal Coat of Arms with "Edward VIII Coronation May 12th 1937" beneath. The handle features the Crown at the top and sceptre at the bottom with oak leaves entwined and the Tudor Rose.
