Extra large West Germany floor vase, combining colour and texture to a functional or simply decorative item. It looks great alone as a statement piece, it could take extra large flowers/folliage or use it as a lavish umbreally stand.
Bay Keramik: Started by Eduard Bay in 1933, pottery production continued into the 1980s, including some striking works. With the West Germany markings on the base, it is believed to of been made in the late 1950s. The colourings consist of matt, off white, with mustard flecks, mid-section of black/grey textured glaze, leading to a warm ochre top, with a glossy crackled glaze.
Condition report: Great condition, no chips, only one slight crack ( in the glaze only) on the inside of the opening.
