What we have here is a Large Beautiful Finely Carved CARVED PIG TOOTH LIZARD Figure from Papua New Guinea or Africa or ????. (carved on both sides)... see photos for measurements. This is a wonderful skillfully carved piece of large size... just look at the fine details and captivating over all look. It is sold as "you decide for yourself" where it is from. This particular piece is sold without certainty of where it is from, though I am leaning towards African as this tooth is much larger than what I have typically seen of PNG tusks (I have sold nearly 500 raw PNG teeth in the past few years). Used condition... in general sculpture may or may not have nicks dings scratches cracks soiling stains loses and imperfections etc that are common to this type of item and sometimes true to the time of creation and consistent with age, see photos for condition... I do not know how old this is but it does have some age... look at the photos and you decide to your best judgement what this is, the age, the condition and what this is worth.
