A stunning large French double tambour cabinet from the 1930s. The cabinet has lovey top and bottom detail and is made from solid and veneer oak, the top cabinet has 3 sections with 18 adjustable plywood shelves, the right hand side has some batons for some of the shelves to give stability. The top tambour slides well and has the original lock and key, there is a hook at the top to hold the tambour door in place and a cut out in the side so the tambour front can stay in place half way down. In the centre are two pull out shelves. The bottom cabinet has one fixed position long shelf. The tambour on the bottom cabinet runs smoothly and has the original lock and key. The whole unit is in overall good original condition, there are some marks and imperfections as to be expected but nothing significant. this all adds to its charm! The top and bottom units separate for transportation. A fantastic piece that would be perfect in a kitchen!
Free delivery to mainland UK, this will be a one man delivery so would need a hand unloading, these are two very heavy, solid units! Please let us know if you would prefer to have a two man delivery and if there are any steps or stairs involved as this may involve an additional fee.
