I acquired this drum some years ago from noted collector Mike Curotto .  Feel free to reach out to him to verify this.  The drum is in the same condition as when he shipped it to me.  

What a sensational sounding drum! I've found this wonderful piece of history to be quite expressive.  The drum works well in loud and soft settings.  You can get a range of different kinds of sounds out of the drum and it's simply a pleasure to play. It's tunable across a wide range.

All parts appear to be original  with the exception of the snare wires and work well. Original strainer is intact and in place. Finish is immaculate with the exception of some modest fade towards brown and some small splits in the wrap which I have done my best to show via the high  resolution photos included.  You'll need to zoom in and look carefully at the two pictures taken on the table with the top head removed. Natural interior with reinforcement rings.

Please ask all questions before bidding.  I've never had negative feedback and I find that comes from having great communication with my buyers.

  • Condition: Used. Pretty darn good for a near 90 year old snare. Original parts all in working order. There is some minor splitting in the wrap and this can be seen from the pictures. Modest amount of fade to brown.
