 Here is a recent estate find. This is a Rare Antique Working Large 19th Century Mahogany Cased French Victorian Carriage Clock, Made in France . This has a Beautiful Footed Ornate Mahogany Wood Case with Decorative Carved Border Trim, and Brass Top Carrying Handle, Very Unique!!! The Silver Metal Dial has Roman Numerals, With Deco Style Geometric Trim Designs. The Movement is a High End French Brass Mechanical 'Time Only' Movement with Lever Escapement, In Good Working Order! It is a 'Key Wind and Key Set' Movement, and Includes a Brass Double Sided Winding Key . The Clock is a Larger Size Carriage Clock, and Measures approx. 9 1/2" Tall (To The Top Of The Handle) x 5 3/4" Wide x 4 1/2" Deep. This is in Working Condition and Winds and Sets Correctly, But Has not Been Serviced or Tested Long Term or For Accuracy, Sold As Found! This is in Good Cosmetic Condition.
