These two stunning, upcycled, Art Deco bedside tables, are believed to be from the early 20th Century. They are made from walnut and both feature a top drawer and a cupboard below with two shelves. The original walnut handles epitomise the Art Deco style.


Having come to us with a great deal of surface damage these tables have been revived with a warm, neutral palette; giving these tables a more contemporary persona that complements the natural richness of the burr walnut veneer. The exteriors of these tables have been hand-painted with Albany’s Bierton eggshell paint, while Albany’s Amblecote paint has been used inside. The table tops and handles have been stripped, sanded and refinished with a high gloss crystal clear lacquer that brings out the walnut’s beautiful grain. The tables have also been fitted with new door hinges and magnetic door catches.
