Job lot of twelve old postcards showing various family portraits, wedding groups etc.  Hard to date but possibly most are circa 1900s - 1910s.  Two postcards have the names of photographic studios printed on the back:  Duke Dawson, 63 George Street, Altrincham - has the date 1917 written on it. The Studio, Paxton Terrace, Barrow-in-Furness.  The postcards have not been used / posted. Measure about 14 cm x 8.8 cm (may vary slightly). Condition:  Some creases; wear / bumps to edges and corners; reverse sides are quite grubby; various scuffs, dents and scratches to the image surfaces; some are slightly curved; some have faded considerably, particularly around the edges. The postcard of a seated family with three young children has a horizontal crease right across the middle. The postcard with a young man seated and a standing lady wearing a large bonnet has some white coloured blemishes in the left top left side. These postcards are in poor to fair condition overall in our opinion but condition is subjective so please study the photographs carefully to make your own judgement. The colours in the photographs will not be completely accurate due to variables in the photos or scans we use and individual computer settings.
