Item:232205426770QUAD 303, 33 & FM3 1970's Vintage Hi-Fi. NO RESERVE!. I need to reduce my collection of Hi-Fi so have decided to sell WITH NO RESERVE, my Quad setup that I have owned for many years. All of the equipment is in very good condition for it's age & importantly is all in very good working order. All of the electrolytic capacitors have been renewed on the 33 pre-amp. The 4 way disc adaptor board 'S1' option has been configured to accept a line level input (without equalisation!) suitable for a CD player for those who dont wish to play vinyl. This is simply an option as the M1, M2 magnetic & ceramic cartridge input options are all still as original for those who do wish to play vinyl. The 303 power amp has had a 5 pin din socket fitted in place of the original 4 pin. The pcb electrolytics have all been renewed. Unfortunately, part of the lower casework had some corrosion on it so I have touched it up with some matt humbrol paint. It still remains in very presentable contition for 40+ years. The FM3 is in perfect working order and
has had the 'tuning' & 'stereo' indicator lamps (2 amber & 1
red) replaced with same colour leds for improved reliability. I am including the 2x audio connecting leads for the setup as well as the 2x switched output mains leads for the 303 & FM3. It should be noted that the 2 pin mains plugs on these leads do not comply with current safety reg's so if preferred, 13A plug to 'bulgin' mains leads could be purchased & substituted. The downside to this option is that the 303 & FM3 do not have mains switches. The choice is the owner's decision. Handbooks for the 33 & the FM3 (which include circuit diagrams) are also included although the covers are a little tatty. Any questions, please ask. UK only bidders with 5+ feedback please.
