The sword sits in the Musketeer Baldric hanging down from your shoulder, faithful to its master despite the challenges. It has been a long and dusty road, but that sword has remained at your side through it all.

As your infantry unit comes to a halt, there is the tension one always feels before the fight. You resist the anxiety, because the moment you step into battle all of that must fade away. It will be you fighting alongside your fellow soldiers, and it will be the sword hanging in your trusted baldric that keeps you alive.

DETAILS
Epic Armoury’s Musketeer Baldric offers more support than a standard waist belt as a way to carry your weapons. Using soft, but sturdy, suede leather, this baldric is both comfortable and durable. The belt strap is secured using a brass buckle painted to look weathered, while the scabbard is adjusted using leather ties and can be switched to either the right-hand or left-hand side. Almost any outfit will benefit from this authentic looking weapon holder, and at only 34.46 oz., it won’t burden your kit with unnecessary weight!

HISTORY

Natural leather products are very durable, but require regular maintenance with leather care products to stay flexible and to increase life-time. Make sure your leather products are kept dry when stored. Let wet leather dry naturally before treating. If frequently wet and dry, increase frequency of maintenance.

CLEANING
Clean by removing dirt with a hard brush, then gently rub on leather soap with a clean, damp cloth until the leather appears clean. Remove soap with a separate damp cloth to wipe away any soap residue and then use a dry cloth to wipe away any remaining water from the leather.

CONDITIONING
You should always condition leather after cleaning, since the soap will have removed some of its natural oils. Treat the leather with mink oil, olive oil, or beeswax polish with a clean cloth, gently rubbing a small amount of oil or polish in circles into the leather. Allow the leather to soak in the oil before wiping the leather with a final clean cloth to remove any excess residue.
