Wanted For Murder , the 1946 Lawrence Huntington romantic detective mystery crime thriller ("From the stage play by Percy Robinson & Terence DeMarney"; "Screen Play by Emeric Pressburger & Rodney Ackland"; basically a precursor of both Hitchcock's "Dial M For Murder" and "Frenzy", about a pair of men suspected in a series of strangling killings, and the police have the wrong one as their prime suspect, which mirrors "Frenzy", and o nce the police zero in on the right suspect, they have to trick him into trapping himself, because they have no evidence, which exactly mirrors "Dial M For Murder")
Starring Eric Portman, Dulcie Gray, Derek Farr, Roland Culver, Stanley Holloway, Barbara Everest and George Carney.
