The eight day double fusee movement is of the finest quality having 5 pillars and circular plates. It has recently been full overhauled and serviced and new fine steel cables fitted to replace the old catgut ones. Striking the hours on a bell[stamped GB inside bell] with pull repeat and rare central third hand for calender which is working. Lovely original painted 6" dial with brass cast bezel and convex glass with working door lock. Beautifully inlaid with brass which is all complete with original silk backing to the side fish scale frets. It is a lovely size as its not to big only 15 ins high x 10.5 ins wide x 6 ins deep. The steel chamfered rod pendulum and heavy bob with a tilt pendulum lock. the back door has a couple of slivers of veneer missing and one side handle has a chip other than that its in fabulous condition with great colour and patina. This is top quality and although unsigned it has all the qualities of a london made clock. The fact that it is relatively small and has a central calender and in beautiful condition and from the golden age of regency clock making all contribute to being very collectible.
