David Andersen of Norway Sterling Silver modernist representation of a Viking Ship and/or flotilla of longships in Brooch /Pendant.


Fully hallmarked on back, properly working clasps. In very good vintage condition with light wear in relation to age which approximates to late 1960’s/ early 1970’s.


Hallmarks:


Brooch/pendant stamped: D-A, scale (both are DAVID-ANDERSEN marks), NORWAY STERLING, 925 S, INV. B.S.Ø. Which is the abbreviation for INVentor (designer) Bjørn Sigurd Østern who worked for the jewellers between the 1960’s to mid-1980’s.


Measurements are approximate:


Height pendant: 54mm

Width pendant: 46 mm

Weight: 18 gram


In extremely good condition. Light surface wear. No damage. Pin closure has good ease of movement and clasp lock is fully functional.
