Regency mahogany breakfast/dining table with tilting top

I am seling a William IV mahogany tilt-top breakfast table, featuring a solid mahogany circular shaped top with rounded edge. The top is supported by an unusual stem, on a triform  base, with carved claw feet.

A handsome, very solid table and of a high quality, this excellent example of early C19th craftsmanship is in good condition, however it would benefit from some restoration work to bring it back to excellent showroom condition.

The table would seat up to six people and measures 107cm wide (at the top), 71cm high and the depth of the table top is 8cm.

Condition:

This table is in very good condition considering the age, and is structurally sound and sturdy. There are some  blemish marks and age related signs of wear consistent with a piece of this age. There are some scratches on the table top. The photographs show areas needing restoration, including a missing section of moulding on the table top and a damaged claw foot. In addition, the table is missing the two bolts required to tilt the top, however these are easily available for replacement.

This is a beautiful investment piece, which can be purchased for a bargain price as unfortunately the current value for these pieces do not reflect the quality and historic value. When you consider the price of a brand new, lesser quality table this truly is a bargain!
