Seller: jez_n_ally (185) 100%, Location: Gerrards Cross, Ships to: Free Local Pickup, Item: 291952614049 Old oak cupboard with 2 glass doors. Inherited from my grandparents who were born in about 1900. So could be anything from 1920s to 1950s. (Or older if it came from their parents.) It is far from beautifully made, but you can see the Dovetail joints at the top. See photos. Some of the glass has come out at some point and been fixed back in place with putty which looks very ugly from the inside. I think the wood is oak with a dark varnish. The back is lighter coloured . The top section of the back is hardboard. There are cup rings visible on the top. The left door is held closed by a brass sliding bolt and the right by the brass latch After all that I'm not sure anyone would want it, but it is solid, and a practical size for a modern house. Definitely a fixer upper. The cupboard is 65 cm (25.5 inches) high Cupboard is 50x19cm (20x7.5 inches) cross section, Top rim is 54x22cm (21x8.5 inches). If you would like further pictures, just let me know. Cash in collection preferred but I will cooperate with a courier of you want to arrange shipping. Condition: Cup rings visible on top. Some glass has been refitted with ugly putty. Top half of back is hardboard rather than wood. Frame around top isn't neatly pinned; there is a gap between it and the cupboard body in one place. Many other signs of age and use., Product Type: Cabinets, Original/Reproduction: Original, Age: 1900-1950, Material: Oak
