Superb Vintage Art Deco Brockwitz Serpent Handled Centrepiece Bowl, 1941 The  Brockwitz  factory was established in 1903 in the town of Brockwitz (near Dresden), Germany. For several years, starting around 1915, Brockwitz produced a large range of  Carnival Glass . In the 1930's and 1940's, Brockwitz made some fantastic  Art Deco  glassware, most of which was featured in their large 1941 catalogue. Not much is known about Brockwitz production after the end of World War II. A wonderful large and very heavy (1.9 kilos unpacked)  Art Deco  clear glass centrepiece bowl or fruit bowl with serpent handles. Made by German company  Brockwitz  in the 1930's/40's, pattern number  9076a , and is featured in their 1941 product catalogue. The bowl is offered in good vintage condition and measures 26cm wide x 39cm long x 13cm tall. It is without damage, there are numerous air bubbles from manufacturing. 1950g
