Lovely Antique Victorian 14K & 9K Rose Gold Teardrop Foiled Pink Garnet Ring 9.5

A stunning antique Victorian solid 14k and 9k rose gold three stone foiled garnet ring.

This gorgeous and uniquely shaped Victorian ring looks to have started life off in early Victorian times (circa 1840s) as a solid 14k rose gold closed-back slide or stick pin with a later added Victorian (circa 1880s) solid 9k rose gold band, the long head curves nicely to fit the finger comfortably and displays three absolutely stunning teardrop and oval faceted bezel-set foiled back garnets which glow the most beautifully intense reddish-purple-pink when they touch the light, the sides of the ring with gold rope twist and bead decorations and the ring with a nice and wide solid 9k rose gold band-a fabulous one of a kind Victorian ring and real joy to wear! The band is stamped '9CT'. The head tests for 14k gold and the band tests for 9k gold.

The ring is approximately a size 9 1/2.
 

The ring measures approximately 23mm x 10mm across the face. The teardrop garnets measure approximately 7.5mm and 8.5mm long x 5mm wide, the oval garnet measures about 7mm x 5mm. The ring rises approximately 5mm above the finger and weighs approximately 3.3 grams.

The ring is in general good condition with all over wear including a couple of tiny chips to the edge of one garnet, some wear to the edge of the bezel settings and small areas of missing rope twist. Please check all the pictures.
