A really fine looking set by James Dixon & Sons of Sheffield in an unusual bespoke pattern, kind of a cross between Gadroon & Louis XVI is best I can describe it. Not come across it before. 8 settings of dinner fork, dinner knife, side/dessert fork, side/dessert knife, dessert spoon, soup spoon, tea spoon + 4x table spoons, 2x large sauce ladles and 3 piece meat servers. Total of 65 pieces.
Condition: All hand polished & gleaming silver. Most pieces are exceptionally lightly used (in fact most are probably unused) with the exception of the knives and a few of the forks but generally it’s a fabulous condition set for age, mirror-like spoon bowls etc. Case interior has the odd small hole to lining but generally sound. Some slight scuffs, light scratches and feint tape type marks to the lid veneer. Has its key and lock works fine.
