This beautiful antique opalescent & Cranberry glass bowl is a wonderful example of a Victorian Bridal Basket Bowl. Created in the late 19th or early 20th century, this wonderful Enamel & Glass piece would have been sat upon a silver frame making it a basket centrepiece at a Wedding. Most have had their silver melted down or pilfered at this point but these striking pink & white elegant opaque glass bowls remain! With it's absolutely fabulous ruffled edging and ombre cranberry rim blending into White opaline it is a stunning example of Victorian event glassware and will make a wonderful addition to any collection or display!

Approximate Measurements:

5cm tall, 16.5cm wide/diameter at widest point. Base is 5.5cm wide. Depth when measured straight up from inside bottom to rim is just over 3.5cm.

Condition:

Condition is 'Used' - There is a mark to one of the ruffle edges where the finish has come off but other than that it's in pretty good Antique condition with only minor wear commensurate with age.
