Improved Earthenware Inhaler is a unique piece of English ceramic from the Victorian era. The item bears the label of S. Maw, Son and Sons, Alderscate St. London England and is believed to be original and vintage (unlike the many non-functional reproductions out there!).
The white earthenware inhaler was designed for medicinal purposes and is a rare find for collectors of antique pottery. The item is in useable and could be functional but missing the tube/plug. No cracks. There is crazing, and a couple tiny glaze pops and scuffing on the spout, staining to spout interior- as pictured. Ask questions. As-is.
