Seller: dumpydiddle (238) 100%, Location: London, Ships to: Free Local Pickup, Item: 201730770231 Very nice, solid, 1930s decorative display cabinet, probably purchased from Maples about 1938 and been with my husband's family since then, in good overall original condition with original glass, and three adjustable shelves (some wear on these as expected with years of use!). The shelves are fixed with small metal "pegs" locked into a series of holes down each side, and probably a few more of these would be useful. Not sure what the wood is, probably beech or oak. The lock is a bit "stiff" but this is a really nice piece and we are only selling as we will have no room for it in the new much smaller home we are about to move to! Measurements are as follows:* Height 125cm (49") x Length 110 cm (43.5") x Depth 31 cm (12"). (* There is a 5 cm (2") high "backing " at the rear top of the cabinet to add to the overall height). Will happily try to answer any questions on this. Happy bidding!
