This vintage rare ivory GPO 300 series bakelite dial telephone from the 1950s is a true collector's item. With its classic design and fully functional conversion, it is perfect for adding a touch of nostalgia to any space. The telephone comes from an era when things were built to last, and this one is no exception. It has an original cream cloth handset cord and a no12 dial. The bakelite is in stunning condition with only a small nibble left of the dial and possibly a faint hairline crack on the handset - the ivory bakelite tends to be more fragile so this is in excellent almost perfect condition which is hard to find. The call exchange button does nothing nowadays but is a nostalgic throwback from the days of shared party telephone lines and a nice feature

It has been fully tested working on our bt landline - please check with your provider that they accept pulse dialing otherwise if not you would be unable to dial out without a pulse to tone converter which are available online. This telephones distinctive ring and charming retro look are sure to delight anyone who appreciates the design and craftsmanship of a bygone era.
