Overall description is best obtained by viewing the attached pictures. Each plate is 8 7/8" in diameter. Each is signed by the artist: C. Austin. The plates are free of chips, cracks, signs of restoration and have not lost color over time. The pictures are clear and look as if just made. There is crazing on the plates as expected given the age. They date, given the type mark on the plates, from the 1950-1960 period.
