Large Antique Victorian Cherub Embroidered Oak Wooden Framed Fire Screen
A beautiful late nineteenth century embroidered and glazed fire screen. The embroidery depicts three cherubs and five birds. On either side are cherubs playing the violin, in the centre is one larger cherub playing a double flute. Standing stalks are depicted in the two lower corners, with a further two birds in the top corners, and one bird in flight at the top. Carved wooden frame.
