Additional Information :
History : 2 previous owners, 1993 to 2000 and 2000 to 2005. Current owner since 2005 though sailed on this boat since 2001 - original owner raced the boat, hence the extensive sail inventory and equipment to meet RORC rules, but has not been raced since so most sails in very good condition - has been regularly wintered ashore - last survey was in 2008 and is available to view - copies of all documentation available including original VAT paid statement, Builders Certificate, and all Bills of Sale.
Performance : The X 412 is a much sought after fast cruiser racer and the extensive inventory means this boat is immediately ready for either racing or comfortable fast cruising. The sandwich hull construction is light but attached to a galvanised frame making an ideal combination of strength and performance. Along with the solid rod rigging and keel stepped mast she is very close winded and always exciting and fun to sail. In 2010, Yachting Monthly gave this boat their highest ever second hand boat mark of 91 /100, describing her as a "wolf in wolf's clothing" with "power, pace, and panache".
