Seller: corsajim (656) 100%, Location: Derby, Ships to: Free Local Pickup, Item: 274008488616 I have for sale yet another lovely old, this time rare 24 hour oak cased Gledhill-Brook clocking in machine/time recorder, this one dating from mid 1941, serial number 60859. The whole unit is in superb original condition, the outer case having been thoroughly cleaned using Liberon wax and dirt remover, followed by dark oak beeswaxing to the standard you see in the photos. The original wording "Gledhill Brook" is still in very good condition, as seen on the sides of the oak case. The side door lock operates perfectly as does the lock for the In/Out lever. The unit can be either hung on the wall or simply freestanding. The rare print unit having both the hour/minute/day/date/month and the 24 hour time wheels has been thoroughly cleaned. The blue stamp ribbon is still moist, and the time and date can be seen clearly when the arm at the front of the machine has been pushed down. The chain fusee mechanism is clean, has been oiled and balanced, and keeps excellent time as expected with this quality clock. The clocking in machine comes with its winding up crank key, original front door locking key, original In/Out lever key, and 6 clocking in cards. This clocking in machine will certainly be a talking point whether in your home, business, or even restaurant/pub. Truthfully, I have never worked on a Gledhill as clean and original as this one, and together with its rarity of having the date and 24 hour stamping unit, I'm quite sure this one will sell very very quickly. I'm pricing this Gledhill very fairly at £399 as it's well worth the price. Dimensions are 45" high by 16" wide by 12" deep. Because of the weight of the unit, it has to be collection only. As I work from home, I can usually work around a suitable time for collection. If you have any questions relating to this item or any of my other items for sale, please contact me on 07758885795.
